How did you become interested in PR? “I was originally studying recreation management because I wanted to own my own day care or survival skills camp for troubled youth. During summer 2011 I worked at a landscaping nursery, as you can imagine it was a lot of hard and dirty work. I love to be outdoors but I didn’t want that for my career, that was also the first time I could picture myself inside of an office. During that summer I was also taking the developing world and it really affected my outlook on life. I would love to do public relations and advertising for companies that are dedicated to sustainability in third world countries. As I started my education in public relations and advertising I became involved with I~Comm Agency, from there I gained my love for agency work. Ultimately I want to be an account executive one day. I don’t have any particular companies in mind right now, which is okay; I’ll find my place.”
